I have been writing professionally for the past decade in an academic setting. During my teaching with Macquarie University, my PhD in Cultural Studies was published through Palgrave Macmillan. My love of speculative fiction got the better of me and I have jumped out of academia to pursue my dream of becoming a horror author and editor.

To help me realise this dream, I completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing from the University of Southern Queensland. I also completed an internship with Sydney-based Spineless Wonders and was awarded a mentorship with the Australasian Horror Writers Association (AHWA) in 2022, undertaken with award-winning author Paul Mannering.

I have published short stories in several horror anthologies across the UK, US and Canada, and have appeared in international podcasts/interviews.

My debut gay horror-comedy, The Haunting of Harry Peck, was published by Rack & Rune Publishing in February 2022 and became an international Amazon bestseller. It is now in its second edition with Lethe Press. My 2023 multi award-winning novel, Raven’s Creek is available through all major retailers, published through my own imprint, Slashic Horror Press.

2024 saw the release of my vampiric lore-inspired novel, The Count, and in 2025 my short story collection, Hell is Other People (Lethe Press) and my next novel, Indentured (Truborn Press) are scheduled for release.

I am currently working on my sixth book, Stowaway, a paranoid, claustrophobic, creature feature set on a plane.
